Support

A person reads every email. Usually within a day.

Email support@kuttable.com. If it is about a cut that went wrong, say what the video was like (how long, how many clips, roughly what happened) and we can usually see why. If it is about billing, say whether you bought in the app or on the website.

Restore a purchase

If you reinstalled the app or got a new iPhone and your plan is missing: open Kuttable, go to Profile, tap Restore purchases, and the plan comes back with the same Apple ID.

If you subscribed on the website, sign in to the app with the same email, Apple ID or Google account you used to buy, and the plan is there.

Delete your account

In the app: Profile → Delete account. It removes your account, your sign-in details and your whole cut history, and cannot be undone. Your videos in Photos are not touched. Cancel any subscription first, because deleting the account does not cancel it with Apple or Stripe.

If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on the account and we delete it for you.

Common questions

The cut removed something I wanted

Open the cut from the home screen. On the timeline, tap the + on any join to bring back what was removed there, or drag the ends of a clip to trim it. Then save again. The original video in Photos is never changed.

The saved video looks different from the original

It shouldn’t. Kuttable keeps the resolution, frame rate and HDR of the recording. If a 4K or HDR video came back at lower quality, email us with the phone model and iOS version; that’s a bug we want to know about.

It said a clip couldn’t be cut

Usually the video is still downloading from iCloud, has no sound, or is in a format the phone cannot read. Wait for the download, or try a different video. If it keeps happening with videos from your own camera, email us.

Where is my cut?

In Photos, in Recents, next to the original. The home screen in Kuttable keeps a card for each cut so you can reopen or re-save it; the app itself keeps no copy of the video.

Does it work on Android?

Not yet. Android is in progress; email us and we’ll tell you when it’s out.

Report a bug

Email the steps, what you expected and what happened, and the phone model. A screen recording helps more than anything.
