Terms of service
Last updated October 12, 2026These are the terms between you and Dominic Capaci LLC (“Kuttable”, “we”) for the Kuttable app and kuttable.com. By using either, you agree to them. They are written to be read, so the important parts are not hidden.
1. Who can use Kuttable
You must be at least 13 years old. To buy a subscription you must be old enough to make the purchase under the law where you live, or have a parent or guardian do it. If you use Kuttable for a company, you confirm you can bind that company to these terms.
2. What Kuttable does
Kuttable removes pauses, filler and repeated takes from videos you recorded, on your phone, and lets you adjust and save the result. The decisions about what to cut are made by software, including AI models, and they will sometimes be wrong. The timeline in the app exists so you can check and change the cut before you save it. You are responsible for what you post.
3. Your videos
Your videos are yours. You give us only the permission we need to provide the service: to process the audio of a recording on our servers to decide the cut, and to store the cut’s recipe (the transcript and the cut decisions) in your account so you can reopen it. We claim no other rights, we do not use your content to train models, and the privacy policy says exactly where the data goes and for how long.
You confirm you have the right to use the videos you cut, including any music or other people in them.
4. Plans and credits
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Videos a month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $19.99 | $159.99 | 100 |
| Pro | $49.99 | $399.99 | 300 |
| Ultra | $89.99 | $719.99 | Unlimited |
- A credit is one video run through Kuttable, counted when the cut is worked out, not when it is saved. A video recorded as several clips and cut together is one video. Cutting the same video again costs another credit.
- Credits reset each month of your subscription and do not carry over. Yearly plans get the same monthly allowance each month.
- Unlimited means for a person or team cutting their own videos by hand in the app. Running the service with automation, sharing one subscription across a business’s customers, or reselling it is not covered, and we may ask you to move to a plan that fits or end the subscription.
- Credits belong to the subscription, not to a person. They cannot be transferred, sold or refunded.
5. The free trial
New subscribers get the first 3 days free. You can use the plan in full during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged for the first period. One trial per customer; Apple and Stripe each enforce that on their side.
6. Billing and renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, monthly or yearly, at the price shown when you bought, until you cancel. If we raise a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
- Bought in the app: the purchase is made through Apple under Apple’s terms, Apple bills you, and you manage or cancel it in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions. Refunds are Apple’s decision, requested at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Bought on kuttable.com: the purchase is made through Stripe, we bill you, and you manage or cancel it from the link in your receipt email or by writing to support. If you are not happy, email us within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund it. After that, and for renewals, there are no refunds for unused time, but cancelling stops the next charge and you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added where the law requires it.
7. Your account
Kuttable works without an account: your phone gets an anonymous one. Signing in with Apple, Google or email lets you keep your history across devices and reinstalls. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You can delete your account at any time in the app; that deletes your history and cannot be undone.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Kuttable to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to process videos you have no right to, to attack or overload the service, to reverse engineer it, or to build a competing service from it. Do not try to get around credit limits or the free trial. If you do, we may suspend or close your account.
9. Changes to the service
We improve Kuttable continuously and may change or retire features. If we discontinue a paid plan, we refund the unused part of any yearly subscription.
10. Other people’s services
Kuttable uses Apple, Stripe, RevenueCat, Deepgram, Anthropic, Cerebras, Groq, Supabase, Expo, Cloudflare and Resend to run. Their terms apply to the parts they provide. TikTok, Instagram and YouTube are not part of Kuttable; posting there is between you and them.
11. No warranty, limited liability
Kuttable is provided as it is. We do not promise that every cut will be right, that the service will be available all the time, or that it fits a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising from Kuttable is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue or lost content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Keep your original videos. Kuttable writes a new file and never alters the original, but it is your only copy.
12. Apple’s part
If you got Kuttable from the App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to support or maintain the app and is not responsible for any claim about it, including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property, other than refunding the price under Apple’s own rules. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you are not in a country under a US embargo and not on a US government list of prohibited parties.
13. Ending things
You can stop using Kuttable and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why unless the law prevents it. Sections 3, 11 and 14 survive.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer law of your country gives you protection that cannot be taken away. Before going to court, write to us; most problems are solved by email in a few days. Courts in Wyoming have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, the date at the top changes. For changes that affect you, such as prices, credits or your rights, we tell you in the app or by email at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use Kuttable after that means you accept them.
